This first release, in many years, isn’t maybe the flashiest or penultimate song on our new record, but what it is is a love song to hope. We all struggled during the pandemic, some of us blossomed, some of us are still finding footing. Bye Bye Blackbird is a song about saying goodbye to the darkness and inviting in the light. It became a simple song that we played together, Matt was inspired by the guitar stylings of Nick Lucas and created a duo arrangement that we elevated into an anthem. In the winter of 2021, it was the first song we recorded at Bigtone studios in Bristol, Virginia with the love & support of Jon Atkinson and his family. Hope you enjoy and Thanks
